This is a stretch, but I still count it. Transformers War for Cybertron Siege Ultra Magnus was a Cybertronian mode of G1 Magnus, and in that design they incorporated RID Magnus elements. In robot mode, not really visible. In vehicle mode though, you see the front bumper, grill, and trailer design from RID Magnus. This caught my eye, and I bought it for the RID connection. To get it early, I had to buy a case, which had Shockwave. Then I got Hound in order to keep my Pulse membership going. And now I have a pretty complete WFC trilogy line up. So we can blame a single half-ass RID connection on one toy for triggering thousands of dollars and multiple years of new collecting. Thanks Hasbro!
Of note – he’s had several re-uses and repaints since the initial release, not featured on the site yet. All of which are technically “RID related” as well.
