Welcome to RID Forever! RIDForever is a tribute site dedicated to Transformers Robots In Disguise and Car Robots, the Transformers toy lines and cartoons released at the turn of the millennium. The black sheep of the Transformers universe, RID was a fast paced filler line used by Hasbro before they launched their home grown re-introduction of Transformers to the masses (Armada, Energon, Cybertron). RID featured new toys and re-painted favorites from the past – incorporating Autobots, Decepticons, Maximals and Predacons into one series for the first time.
Robots in Disguise has always had an infamous “love/hate” relationship with the fans. We here at RID Forever fall on the “love” side, and hope to archive as much info as we can about the series for you. Whether it be Car Robots (the Japanese version), Robots in Disguise (the American Version), or even Car-Bot (the Korean version), we dig it, and hope you do too. Enjoy!

2024 Updates:
So we haven’t updated in a bit, and we do have some new goodies to add eventually. HOWEVER, Hasbro just announced their 2024 Haslab crowdfunding project and it is none other than RID Omega Prime aka Car Robots God Fire Convoy! An all new version of the series leads Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus will (hopefully) be made. You can back the project here, needing 10,000 backers to move forward. 2021 is the 20th Anniversary of Robots in Disguise, the US version of the series, so Happy Birthday RID!
